    New Australian Citizens Welcomed in Litchfield

    Litchfield Council has proudly welcomed 13 new Australian citizens during a special Citizenship Ceremony held recently.

    The ceremony recognised candidates from eight different countries (Canada, New Zealand, China, UK, Vietnam, Zimbabwe, Cambodia and Indonesia), marking an important milestone in their journey to becoming Australian citizens and celebrating the rich cultural diversity that strengthens the Litchfield community.

    The draft plans outline Council’s priorities, services and budget for the coming year, along with a 10-year financial roadmap to support sustainable growth across the municipality.

    $1,280,000 million will help fund the upgrade a section of the Thorngate Road in the Holtze area which lies in the Litchfield Council local government area.
