Litchfield Council is excited to deliver a packed program of free activities for young people as part of Youth Week 2026, running from 2 to 12 April.
With a wide range of events designed for ages 8 to 17, this year’s program offers something for everyone. From creative workshops and sports to gaming, fitness and social events.
Young people can get involved in activities such as kids and teen yoga, clay art, block printing, first aid and fire safety sessions, as well as basketball, tennis, pickleball and AFL coaching. There are also plenty of fun social events including pool parties, esports and gaming sessions, karaoke and talent quests, and even a Nerf gun battle.
Events will be held at a variety of locations across the municipality, including Howard Springs, Humpty Doo, Berry Springs, Coolalinga and Livingstone, making it easy for families to access activities close to home.
All events are free, but bookings are essential.
Mayor Rachael Wright said Youth Week is an important opportunity to support and celebrate young people in the community.
“Litchfield Council is proud to offer a diverse and inclusive Youth Week program that encourages young people to get active, try something new and connect with others.
“Youth Week is about celebrating the valuable contribution young people make to our community while also providing fun, safe and engaging activities during the school holidays.”
Council encourages families to explore the full program and secure their spots early to avoid missing out.
