New roundabout could help save lives

Safety is expected to improve at a key intersection in the rural area after Litchfield Council built a $2.25 million roundabout to help avoid accidents.

Litchfield Council welcomes the release of the Northern Territory Planning Commission’s consultation paper on the Litchfield Sub Regional Land Use Plan.

Litchfield Council hosted the NT Planning Commission today at Council Chambers, where following an information sharing discussion with Council staff, Planning Commission chairman Gary Nairn spoke with the media about the process of developing the new land use plan, and consultation with the community.

What’s happening in October from the works department

A full maintenance grading round is to commence week starting 30^th September. This will include reinstating table drains, offlet drains and table drain blocks in preparation for the wet season.
