Election Information
Local government elections in the Northern Territory are conducted by the Northern Territory Electoral Commission (NTEC). Litchfield Council encourages all eligible residents to participate in the democratic process by voting or standing as a candidate.

Thinking of Becoming a Candidate?
If you are considering running for Council, a Candidate Information Session will be held on Thursday, 17 July at 5:00pm. Representatives from the Northern Territory Electoral Commission (NTEC) will be in attendance to provide information and answer any questions about the nomination process and the responsibilities of elected members.
