The Litchfield Local Government Area is now on a Cyclone Warning.

 

The following council services will close 21 November due to the Cyclone Warning:

  • Litchfield Council Office will close at 12pm Friday 21/11/2025
  • Pound is now CLOSED Friday 21/11/2025 (please keep stray dogs until it reopens)
  • Litchfield Community Library now CLOSED Friday 21/11/2025
  • Thorak Cemetery will close at 2pm Friday 21/11/2025
  • Recreational Reserves will close at 12pm Friday 21/11/2025
  • Humpty Doo Waste Transfer Station: will close at 6pm Friday 21/11/2025
  • Howard Springs Waste Transfer Station: will close at 6pm Friday 21/11/2025
  • Berry Springs Waste Transfer Station: will close at 6pm Friday 21/11/2025

Once closed, services will remain closed until further notice.

 

Please be aware of water on the roads and ensure you do not cross deep or rapidly flowing water.
