Taminmin Library will be closed to the public.

Thorak Regional Cemetery will be closed to the public for over the counter service, however you can contact the office via phone on 8947 0903.

The Waste Transfer Stations will be open for contractors and essential waste. Essential waste is not the disposal of domestic rubbish. This does not meet the criteria to leave your residence. Essential waste is for contractors or businesses (which have been classified as essential by the Chief Health Officer) that are open and may need to urgently discard waste. Councils waste transfer stations will be prepared on Tuesday after 1pm to welcome Litchfield residents for domestic waste.

The Recreation Reserves open spaces are open for exercise if it is within 5km from you home, however, the facilities at the reserves are not available for use.

The pound is currently not available for dogs to be dropped off as this is not considered an essential reason to leave your home, as per the NT Governments rules. If you have a lost dog, please try to keep it safe until 1pm Tuesday afternoon at which time Council will be able to accept them again. Rangers can provide phone advice about managing lost dogs, please call 8983 0600.
