In 2017, a Library Needs Study was conducted to guide Council and the Northern Territory Library in their decisions and allocation of resources for the extension and operations of future library services in Litchfield.

The Litchfield Community Library serves the public of the Litchfield Municipality. The Library, which is funded by the Northern Territory Government, offers free membership to Northern Territory residents and many facilities including:

Meeting Room Hire

The Library Community Room is perfect for a variety of activities. Our meeting room is located inside the library and available for bookings during library operational hours. The room features tables and chairs comfortable for 20 people, a full size whiteboard. Please note that meeting supplies such as paper, white board markers etc. are the responsibility of the organiser or facilitator.

Please note the room is popular and likely to book out so allow at least 48 hours notice for all bookings.

Please allow set up and pack down time to your booking as all bookings times must be strictly adhered to.
