The Library is now open.

The health and safety of our community is the number one priority. Social distancing measures of 1.5 metres will be in affect and hand sanitiser is available in the foyer. Extra cleaning will be conducted.

Unlimited loans and automatic renewals are now permanently in effect.

Taminmin Community Library serves the public of the Litchfield Municipality and the staff and students of Taminmin High School. The Library, which is funded by the Northern Territory Government, offers free membership to Northern Territory residents and many facilities including:

  • Free wifi
  • Public access computers
  • Newspapers 
  • Printing
  • Scanning
  • Photocopying

The Litchfield Council provides an annual grant to the Taminmin Community Library to maintain the historical Litchfield Collection.

Nurserytime (0-1yr): Wednesdays 10:30am

Senior’s morning Tea: 2nd Friday of the month

 Road to IELTS: Road to IELTS helps learners of English with reading, writing, speaking and listening.
