Council Recreation Reserves
The Litchfield Council has 7 community recreation reserves which offer a range of activities and natural environments for residents and visitors to enjoy and participate in.
The community recreation reserves are managed by dedicated and enthusiastic volunteer management boards and are funded by council grants and funds raised by the reserves themselves.
Each reserve offers differing recreational facilities such as nature walk activities, wildlife sanctuaries, camping and BBQ facilities with seasonal swimming in springs with beautiful native bushland surrounds.
Some reserves are hosts to a wide range of local sporting club activities and annual events such as the Annual Freds Pass Rural Show.
